I love those socks! They sort of look like they have been felted (at least in the pics, perhaps not in real life). I think it's because of the way the colors fade into one another. The sweater is great, too. I'm glad you are so happy with it.
I love your new sweater too. And the socks look like lots of fun. What are they made of?
So the socks are just a fingering weight wool called Trekking XXL. I love them. Very soft and my favorite part is the way the colors change, like Abby said, they just fade into one another...because you know I don't like variegated...
